Chris Ferdinand
Chris joined North State Bank as an assistant vice president and mortgage loan officer in June 2025. A native of Oakdale, New York, Chris, along with his family, now makes his home in Clayton. He is actively involved with both the Home Builders Association of Raleigh–Wake County and the Home Builders Association of Franklin County. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and has 17 years of mortgage industry experience, including previous positions with Countrywide Home Loans, M/I Financial, and First Home Mortgage, where he earned a place in the company’s Leaders Club for two consecutive years. He was named a Top Originator by Scotsman Guide in 2025.
Renee Strahler
A 23-year industry veteran, Renee joined North State Bank as an assistant vice president and mortgage loan officer in June 2025, after working at both PrimeLending and First Home Mortgage, where she was named to their Leaders Club. In 2025, she was recognized as a Top Originator by Scotsman Guide. A native of Marietta, Ohio, Renee earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is currently involved with the Raleigh Regional Association of Lenders, Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County, Home Builders Association of Franklin County, and St. Mary Magdaline Church. She and her family live in Cary.
